Morale-Based Marketing
Organizations must connect the dots between their employees and the reputation of the organization. I can summarize my thoughts on this in two statements:
- When your employees aren’t treated like they’re Number One, then they won’t treat your customers like they’re Number One. They’ll feel disconnected from the job, unhappy with the job, or both. These employees will also be less productive, less interested in the quality of their work, and unlikely to be concerned about the organization’s success. They’ll complain to each other about the organization…and worse yet, they’ll complain to your customers about their dissatisfaction. Your organization’s reputation will be damaged.
- When your customers aren’t treated like they’re Number One, your organization’s reputation will be damaged.
That’s why it’s absolutely critical that you create an environment that inspires your employees to become ambassadors of your organization. And that’s why I have developed my system of Morale-Based Marketing.
“Reputation is now considered part of everyone’s job – from the mailroom to the boardroom.”
—Dr. Leslie Gaines-Ross, author and internationally recognized expert on reputation management
Best of all, your employees really want to be your ambassadors. Because that will mean they feel engaged, motivated, connected, happy, and valued at work. Their quality of life will improve. They’ll know they are an important part of their employers’ success. It is human nature to want to belong, to contribute, and to feel valued. And my Morale-Based Marketing System will show you how to make them feel that way.
In fact…this desire to belong and feel valued is so great that employees are more likely to leave their jobs because they don’t feel valued or connected than for reasons having to do with their salary. Add this to the fact that about three-quarters of all U.S. employees are not committed to their jobs or their employers and you can see why inspiring your employees to become your ambassadors is a smart thing to do, for many reasons.
More than 60 percent of all employees are planning a new job search within the next three months. Click here to download my free special report on employee loyalty. (PDF) In it, you will find out what happens when your employees are not inspired to become ambassadors for your company.
