Fun can also mean "engrossing," "inspiring." "meaningful," "fascinating," etc. It means getting up in the morning and really looking forward to going to work. If, in the process, laughs and horseplay also ensue --- so much the better. And behind it all there is bound to be a great boss/company. “Fun” doesn’t have to mean a “ha-ha” experience.
